Here you will find the files you'll need to prepare the Cambridge English exams. You have to follow the instructions and, please, respect the rules and the times I tell you, take it seriously!
Remember this task isn't compulsory but advisable.

Format - P.E.T. exam has three papers:
- Reading and Writing - 1 hour 30 minutes
Shows you can read and understand the main points from signs, journals, newspapers and magazines, and can use vocabulary and structure correctly.
- Listening - 35 minutes
- Speaking - 10 - 12 minutes

First Exam:

In order to get access towards the sample papers:
First of all press over the link to the part you want to download. Secondly, press over the button which is called "Descargar", then, when the pop-up message that says "Crea una cuenta de Dropbox..." appears, go down and press over the message "No, gracias, continuar con descarga", or, if the pop-up message you get is "¿Eres nuevo en Dropbox...", just close this pop-up. After that, the file will appear.
After that, the file you were looking for will appear. Donwload every single part from the three papers and, then, start doing the exams. Respect the rules and the times for each part.
First Exam
Reading and Writing: (50% of the final mark)
- Part 1 - Analiza el texto de cada imagen. ¿Qué es lo que quiere decir? Marca la opción correcta A, B ó C en tu hoja de respuestas.
- Part 2 - Las personas de más abajo viven en Londres y están todas interesadas en mantenerse en forma. En la siguiente página puedes encontrar descripciones de 8 páginas web para gente que quiere estar en forma. Decide qué página web es la más apropiada para cada persona. Para las preguntas 6 a 10 decide que opciones de la A a la H son las más adecuadas.
- Part 3 - Observa las frases de más abajo sobre un club de lectura. Lee el texto de la página siguiente para determinar si las oraciones son correctas o incorrectas. Si son correctas marca la opción "A" en tu hoja de respuestas y, si es incorrecta, marca la opción "B".
- Part 4 - Lee el texto y las preguntas de más abajo. Para cada pregunta marca la opción correcta: A, B, C ó D en tu hoja de respuestas.
- Part 5 - Lee el texto de más abajo y escoge la palabra correcta para cada espacio. Para cada hueco escoge la letra correcta A, B, C ó D.
Writing:
- Part 1 - Aquí tenéis algunas oraciones sobre aprender italiano. Para cada pregunta, completa la segunda oración de tal manera que signifique lo mismo que la primera. No uses más de tres palabras. Escribe sólo las palabras que faltan en la hoja de respuestas.
- Part 2 - Has pasado el fin de semana con unos amigos ingleses. Escríbeles una tarjeta. Escribe de 35 a 45 palabras en la hoja de respuestas. En la tarjeta debes:
- Dar las gracias a tus amigos por el fin de semana.
- Decirles lo que has disfrutado más del fin de semana.
- Invítales a quedarse contigo.
- Part 3 - Escribe una respuesta a una de las preguntas (7 u 8) en esta parte. Escribe tu respuesta en unas 100 palabras en tu hoja de respuestas. Marca el número de la pregunta en la casilla en la parte de arriba de la hoja de respuestas.
Tips:
- Take a few minutes to read and check every single part of this paper.
- Read the instructions carefully before you start evey single part.
- Organice your time and divide it among the parts you have to fulfill.
- Don't spend too much time doing one part. If you don't know how to do it, continue with the exam and come back later on, if you have enough time, to retry it.
- Remember to transfer you answers to your answer sheet on time and don't mix the asnwers.
Listening: (25% of the final mark)
- Part 1 - Hay siete preguntas en esta sección. Por cada pregunta hay tres dibujos y una grabación corta. Escoge el dibujo correcto y pon un tick en el recuadro de debajo que le corresponda.
- Part 2 - Vas a escuchar a una reportera, llamada Angela Bond, hablando en la radio sobre su trabajo. Por cada pregunta pon un tick en la casilla correcta.
- Part 3 - Vas a oír un programa de radio sobre sitios históricos para visitar. Por cada apartado, rellena la información que falta en cada uno de los espacios señalados con los distintos números.
- Part 4 - Observa las seis oraciones en esta sección. Escucharás una conversación entre un chico, Marcus, y una chica, Catherine, que hablan sobre sus trabajos. Decide si cada oración es correcta o incorrecta. Si es correcta pon un tick al cuadro "A" (YES). Si no es correcta, pon un tick en el cuadro debajo de la opción "B" (NO).

Speaking: (25% of the final mark)
You are going to continue practicing with Fergus for the Cambridge Exams. He is going to work with you in the same way you will be expected to do on the day of the exam.
Part 1: Talking and giving personal information. You will be ask to answer questions about your personal life. This is an individual task. These are the questions you will find in the video.
- What's your name?
- What's your surname? How do you spell it?
- Where do you live?
- Do you study English at school? Do you like it?
- What's your favourite school subject?
- Tell us about your English teacher.
Part 2: The students will talk to each other on this part. The oral examiner is going to describe a situation to the candidates. The situation is the following one: "a girl is going to live in another city. The people in her tennis club want to give her a goodbye present. Talk together about the different they could give her and then say which would be best. Here is a picture with some ideas to help you.
Part 3:
- Now I'd like each of you to talk on your own about something. I'm going to give each of your a photograph of people enjoying music. Student A, here is your photograph, please show it to student B, but I'd like you to talk about it and student B you just listen and I'll give you your photo in a moment. So Student A please tell us what you can see in the photograph.
- Now student B here is your photograph, it also shows people enjoying music. Please show it to student A and tell us what you can see in the photograph.
Part 4: Your photographs show people enjoying music. Now I'd like you to talk together about when you're enjoying music and say what you do when you're listening to music. Talk about the music you don't like.
